Which privacy structure is right for my space?+
CNC panels offer custom-cut decorative patterns, jali tiles create a textured screen, and PVC lattice provides a repeating open pattern. Rafters define an overhead space and can be paired with side screening. The right choice depends on your location, preferred appearance and privacy needs.
Can I get privacy without losing daylight and airflow?+
Open patterns allow light and air through, but their screening effect depends on the opening size, spacing, height and viewing angle. Lighting conditions also affect visibility. We plan around the views you want to shield; open designs do not provide complete visual privacy.
Can the pattern, size and colour be customised?+
Panel dimensions, layouts and supporting frames can be planned around your space. Pattern and finish choices depend on the selected material: CNC cut designs, jali tile patterns and PVC lattice each have different options. We confirm the available choices before finalising your design.
Can you install privacy screens on an existing balcony, terrace or pergola?+
They can often be incorporated into an existing space. We first assess the dimensions, supporting structure, fixing points and access. This helps us confirm whether the proposed design can be installed and whether an additional supporting frame is needed.
Are these privacy structures suitable for outdoor use?+
Outdoor suitability depends on the specific material, finish and installation details. Tell us whether the area is open, sheltered or exposed to frequent rain and sun so we can discuss suitable options. The material and finish are confirmed as part of the design and quotation.
Will a privacy structure provide shade and rain protection?+
Panels and rafters can provide partial shade depending on their layout and the sun’s direction. Open CNC patterns, jali, lattice and rafters are not waterproof roofing. If you need rain protection, we can discuss a separate roofing solution alongside your privacy design.
Can UPVC windows and doors be included in a terrace enclosure?+
UPVC windows and doors can be considered as part of a covered terrace enclosure, subject to the site and supporting structure. We discuss the opening layout, ventilation and glazing requirements together. Clear glass provides visibility, so tell us if visual privacy is also a priority.
How do I clean and maintain my privacy structure?+
Follow the care guidance for your chosen material and finish. Routine care generally includes gentle cleaning with a soft cloth and mild soapy water, while avoiding abrasive cleaners. Keep openings clear and arrange an inspection if you notice loose fixings, damage or deterioration of the finish.
How long will fabrication and installation take?+
The schedule depends on the size, material, pattern complexity, finish and site access. Final measurements and design approval are needed before fabrication can be planned. We confirm the expected fabrication and installation schedule once the project scope is agreed.
How much does a privacy structure cost, and how can I get a quotation?+
Pricing depends on the dimensions, material, pattern, finish, supporting frame and installation requirements. Share your location, a few site photos, approximate measurements and a preferred design by email or phone. We can then discuss the scope and prepare a quotation for your space.
